A MISSIO DEI COMO UMA ABORDAGEM NEOPARADIGMÁTICA DA MISSÃO

Abstract

The following article aims to conceptualize, reflect, and analyze the missionary reality in an attempt to comprehend its nature, purpose, and also its place in the Church. It aims to understand to what extent the colonial collapse, globalization, and postmodernity plunged the missionary work into a crisis. Assuming that sin destroyed and partially deprived creation of its characteristics, God's mission in the world becomes the antidote to the restoration process. In that case, the mission goes through a challenging path in the pursuit of a biblical and contextualized missionary practice, thus cooperating with God in the fulfilment of His eternal purposes.
